Apple Cider Vinegar is a great natural home remedy to stop diarrhea.
The vinegar is an effective agent that works against many of the major bacteria that lead to diarrhea.
The high pectin concentrations in ACV will sooth the irritated lining of your colon.
Another common type of diarrhea is Nervous diarrhea, which may occur when you are under a significant amount of stress.
Diarrhea can often be a side effect of taking over the counter drugs like antacid. You may be surprised to hear that many of these other issues (especially heartburn) could have been resolved by taking ACV thereby sidestepping the diarrhea problem altogether.
As with many other issues I talk about on this website, the recommended dosage is 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar in an 8 oz glass of water, 3 times a day. If 2 tablespoons is too much try 1 at first.
The brand I recommend is Bragg apple cider vinegar but there are others. Make sure the mother is present.
Of course there are other diarrhea remedies available to you and some of them are quite good.
I choose apple cider vinegar because it is also a wonderful cure for a number of other ailments which usually require antibiotics or medications.
Did you know it also works on constipation?
