Yeast Infection Treatment
Vinegar Cure

Apple Cider Vinegar is well known for its effectiveness as a yeast infection cure because it is lethal to the yeast.

Vinegar is most potent at full strength but may sting a bit. Try diluting it with some warm water to make it bearable.

A cup of ACV in the bath will help but is not strong enough to give lasting, all day relief. Experiment with the dosage until you find one that is tolerable yet still works for you. A slight sting is probably best.

There are more than one type of yeast infection which can affect men and babies as well as women. These infections are caused by any 1 of 20 species of microscopic fungi known collectively as Candida Yeast.

As you are probably aware, fungi love moist environments so think about how many locations on the human body are possible targets for a thriving population.

  • mouth,
  • scrotum,
  • vagina,
  • skin folds,
  • nailbeds,
  • between toes etc.

You may already have tried some of the creams and suppositories that are available in stores but I bet you have been disappointed. These types of "cures" are expensive and they usually only provide temporary relief.

Apple Cider Vinegar, with the mother, is a very natural, proven method of killing Candida yeast infection and can be taken externally to combat an infection or internally on a regular basis to maintain health.

I recommend Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar.

I take Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar daily with a cup of hot water. Hot water takes away the sharp taste and gives it a mild flavor which is actually pleasant. Sometimes I will also add a little honey to make it even more pleasant.

Other Natural Yeast Infection Remedies

I have another website called Essential Oil Remedies and there are a few Essential Oils that you can use to cure your yeast infection.
Check them out here.

There are many other natural remedies worthy of consideration so if vinegar is not your "cup of tea" give them a try.

Here are a few suggestions for you:

Caution

Avoid treatments that contain sugar.

Yeast feeds on sugar and this will only exacerbate your condition.

  • Garlic - Garlic is very effective as it is a natural enemy of yeast and can be taken both internally and externally.
  • Yogurt - Plain, unsweetened yogurt is also a known yeast fighter which can be taken both internally and externally.

If applied externally, make sure you remove it soon after relief is attained because it will create that moist environment that yeast love.
  • Water - Make sure you drink lots of water every day as this will flush the toxins and sugars out of your system before they can feed any yeast populations that are trying to establish themselves.

This will also assist your body with many other health issues you may face and is a very good daily practice, especially for the elderly.

Add apple cider vinegar to a cup of hot water to really flush your system.
  • Cranberry juice (add Apple Cider Vinegar for maximum effectiveness)
  • Echinacea
  • Antioxidant foods such as blueberries and cherries
  • Vitamin C rich fruits
  • Fiber rich foods

What to Avoid

  • sugar
  • caffeinated drinks like coffee and tea
  • carbonated drinks
  • alcohol and tobacco
  • refined foods such as white bread and sugar
  • reduce trans fats such as fried foods or commercially baked goods

Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural anti-fungal ingredient and you only need to add a cup of vinegar to a warm bath as an effective male yeast infection home remedy.
